Τα  56α ετήσια βραβεία  Grammy Awards πραγματοποιήθηκαν στις 26 Ιανουαρίου, 2014, στο Staples Center στο Λος Άντζελες. Η εκπομπή μεταδόθηκε όπως αναφέραμε σε προηγούμενο άρθρο από το κανάλι  CBS στις 20:00 p.m. ET/P.

Η Carole King τιμήθηκε με το βραβείο  MusiCares Person of the Year στις 24 Ιανουαρίου δύο μέρες πριν από τα βραβεία  Grammy.
